i've used one lots of times, it just that these on ebay seem to good to be true, I mean cheaper than harbor freight?

I have 1000 sq ft in garage and 1000sq ft in basement to hang, getting the garage done is the priority, just don't tell my wife.

I have the HF version, got it on sale a few years back. No complaints from friends, family or myself. Doesn't take up much space in the garage and comes in handy for lots of overhead work besides Sheetrock. Like hanging attic stairs, overhead florescent lights, just about anything you have to hold up while you attach or hang. One of those tools at HF that doesn't suck! Its one of those tools you can loan to a friend and not worry about.

We used one in my buddys remodel. It was great since his house was built by his grandfather from reused mine lumber. Meaning we had to shim a lot after we knocked down all the old plaster. Having the lift really really helped.
