My Mitsu came with only one pump which was pathetically slow on the FEL.
I added a front pump driven by the crankshaft using a universal joint that now powers only the FEL
World of difference, FEL moves at a respectful speed now and I have no loss of power in other functions.
In my case the factory had an option to attach a front shaft and I used that to couple up my pump PTO and simply made a bracket to mount the pump.
The installation has been flawless for some 8 years and over 500 hrs.
The frt pump makes the FEL operate twice as fast as the factory installation did.
