Tire Selection Duals

I have a 2wd Massey Ferguson 253 with 14.9-28 R1 tires and I have found a set of reasonably priced clamp on T rail duals. The only thing that worries me is the duals are 16.9-28. Will these fit my tractor? I知 thinking the 16.9 are a little wider but that shouldn稚 be a problem because they are on separate rims??

What does your owners manual say about running duals. Mine says - NO.

Are the 16.9 taller? You do not want the dual larger diameter than the mains.

The tire height will most likely be different, it is not uncommon to run a slightly shorter tire on the outside dual of a tractor normmally that will be a worn one on the outside and a newer one on the inside.
for an example 16.9-28's from Titan run about 57 inches in diameter,
