Today I thought I would take a little drive over to the new homestead and in the mmm on the new bx25D. Guess what I learned today? ..... You need a key to run start the kubota! Duh. So I just used the push mower for a while ... Next time ... So what do most of you do ? Add the stupid little key to your keychain or just leave it in the ignition?

Our tractor key hangs on a key rack in the utility room along with shop keys and the mower keys. I prefer not to carry the tractor key on my main keys because I fear losing my main keys from a broken ring etc.

I have two keys. One for the tractor and a spare I keep with my car keys in my pocket. Because I have done what you did.

I have three keys. One is in my wallet, another in the shop hidden away, and another in the safe. Works for me.

We are trusting we leave ours in the ignition, but more often than not it is in a locked garage. The 200 does not have a key so no brainer there.

I have 4 keys. 1 in/on the tractor, one in the pickup truck, 1 in the minivan, and 1 in the house with all the other spare vehicle keys. Learned that lesson the hard way. Left the tractor at a job site 25 minutes away, only to find out I left the key home. I now keep a spare in all the vehicles.

Sometimes I forget where I left the tractor. I'm thinking I may need a spare for it also.

Just the other day I had to look for my loader bucket. After 30 minutes of running around I found it, just where I had left it a week prior.

At the hay field I rent there is an electric gate opener with no other easy way to access the property. If I'm on the tractor the remote is in the truck, if I'm in the truck it's in the RTV, ect. You'd think I'd learn to look for it before I set off. lol
