You are the guy commercials are written for. You watch them and don't even know it. :)

I dunno. I will watch a commercial , and go, ohh that is what they are selling. Seen it a bunch of times and never paid attention. Commercials don't effect my judgement.
I like funny ones. But like I said, half the time I don't know the product. Hard to sell me a car, if I don't know the car is out there.

Duluth had some good work gloves that they referred to a 'Kevlar gloves' but evidently only the stitching was Kevlar and they must have had to change the name. They are now referred to as 'original work gloves'.

I bought a ton of those gloves when they were unloading them for $10 a pair several years back, seems like it was around 2008 or so. Still have a good supply left, brand new. Love em at that $10 price.

At the current regular price of $29 I am not a buyer. They go on sale, if I need gloves, I'll stock up.

I also bought a leather bag from them several years back and it's just now getting broke in. Bought it on sale as they were changing suppliers and it has been a bargain.

I bought a 'no polo' shirt which was great so I bought two more. They were obviously from a different source and were greatly inferior to the original one I bought. I still have the original but not the other two. One I just left in a hotel on purpose because I decided I hated that shirt so much for the fit and the way everything on it curled up. There is some real inconsistency with some of their products.

Everything they sell is sourced from different suppliers and when they change suppliers they usually dump their stock from the outgoing supplier at a great discount. That seems to be the key to when to stick up at Duluth.

I have had it with them too. Why pay premium for foreign made clothes?

I have a sweatshirt from the 90s. The stiching reinforced and side panels. Don't get that from them anymore. I don't think they are any better then any Chinese product.

Subliminal messages. :)

I call BS to that.

Back when Mc Donalds sold 1/4 lb hamburgers and pops were 12 ounce, we didn't need tall shirts.

Yeah I see a lot of people going into mickyDs that should stay away that's why they need those shirts.

I thought the products might be good from the ads, but after seeing the prices, NO WAY. No undershorts made in Bangladesh or China is worth $15 each. I will stick with my Hanes, they do the job of keeping the ballroom snug and at 1/4th the cost.
After reviewing the Duluth Trading catalog, I found not one item that was not foreign made. Most don't say where(only foreign ) but we can assume China or other low wage, low quality place which accounts for some folks getting good lasting quality while others got crap.

I am not really against buying foreign but I sure am not going to pay triple or more for it compared to other products available that suit me just as well.
