I have an L 3130 HST 4 wheel drive,I need front tires and was wondering what does rolling circumferance mean? I have 10x16.5 NHS on it.Rim size 16.5x 8.25.I want to buy a tire mounted on a 16.5x8.3 rim, how much difference is this? I just need a 10 x 16.5 tire to fit and not mess up anything.One other question I have 420/70 x24 on the rear,is this close to 17.5x24?

The rolling circumference is the inflated diameter
of the tire at the recommended tire pressure.

You also need to under stand the rolling radius
of a tire which is half of the rolling diameter.

The width of a rim allows some additonal
tire tread width sizes, BUUUUUT
if you buy a wider tread tire it may affect
the steering arc and in effect reduce it,
rub on the axle as it is too wide and
eventually blow the tire.


Maybe a better fit would be a turf diamond tread
tire of that size for you as there will be no large
tread lugs further exposed in a tight turning radius.


part two -This is the metric equivalent of the tire size
also molded into the tire sidewall.
