Hi all,

A great, fellow TBN'er sent me the Kubota Whole Goods Catalogue, so I probably have the answer already. But I just wanted to double-check, because this catalogue appears to be for 2013, and I'm looking at 2011-2012 machines and older, and I wanted to be sure there weren't conflicting dimensions in the earlier years.

Whole Goods lists this:

DIMENSIONS
Overall Height w/Rops 91.7"
Overall Length w/3pt 114.8
Wheel Base 63.3
Crop Clearance 13.6

Folded Height 72.8"

The folded height will work for me, I believe, in all of my spaces, but the "up-height" will NOT work, for more than one of the four doors involved.

Thanks to all--especially if someone has a 2011 or older they'd care to measure, or have "known-good" specs on.

Also, I've read turfs will make a tractor slightly taller. Can anyone "ballpark" what that height increase would be, assuming I can even find an L3800HST on turfs?

Thanks again,

My Hoe

I cant take any measurements for you, but here are my thoughts. With the rops folded, your head is the tallest point, of course it depends on your physical size.. Yep, you may need to duck. And I think turfs make the tractor slightly lower than AG, and maybe industrials. I think they are the shortest tire. I could be wrong.

I shortened the ROPs on my L3800 3-4" to get it under my shed. Was too tall anyway.

I am not certain, but I would think that any folding rops for a tractor that size should clear a standard 7' door, regardless of year. There may be a few inches difference one way of the other, but I think you will be fine unless you have 6' doors for whatever reason.

I cannot measure mine though. I didnt get the folding ones, only fixed. So I just took them off.

Just so you know: this is not a dumb question by a long shot.
This is a dumb question: How was I to know it would hit the garage door?
