I've heard them called finish (cut) mowers, estate mowers, and grooming mowers. They're all the same type of mower, right?? Or is there actually some subtle difference(s) between them?

All the same, as opposed to rough cut mowers called brush hogs which are made for cutting brush, shrubs and small trees. There are also farming type mowers called drum mowers for cutting farm fields etc.
