Dump Action of 210 Loader

What's up everyone? I have a less than 1 year old JD2210 with a 210 loader on it. I was wondering if anyone has had any issues with the loader sticking when in the dumping action. When I move the lever to dump the load, much of the time the loader VERY slow to do so. Hydraulic fluid levels are fine, no kinks in the lines and nothing what I would say is out of the ordinary. Any ideas?

I have a "sweet spot" on my FEL control for the fast dump, and it isn't all the way over to the right. So I've developed techniques that allow me to dump the bucket at very different speeds. Is it possible you're going too far over to the right and kinda blowing through the fast dump position?

I'm going to check that out tonight Steve. I appreciate the feedback. My father-in-law has a Kubota with a FEL that I was used to using. It very well may be that I just need to learn to finesse this one a little more. Thanks again.

I also find the hydraulics slow on the 2210 when compared to my last CUT (JD755). I think that it is due to the lower pump capacity, and is possibly a trade-off necessary to the price-point. It definitely doesn't have the flow necessary to lift and curl or lower and dump at the same time. While I have never experienced a sticking point, there is definitely a "sweet spot" like Steve mentioned that gets you to the fast dump position. You may just need to play around with it some more.

Read up in the manual on the 'fast dump' feature. There are times when its apparently 'in between' and the bucket 'acts strange' like you are not in control. It depends on the bucket being loaded and not loaded as well. Can be frustrating until you get used to it, and a great feature when you do. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I have no trouble doing these actions simultaneously on my MF FEL for the GC2300.

Hope you're having fun... If you're looking to make this a bash "green" post, go away. Every machine has their limits, I'm sure we can find ones for the MF brand. While (my) 2210 struggles to do multiple functions at the same time -- that is not to say it doesn't. So do we need a stop watch to see how fast a particular brand moves a loader in a particular function?

Let's get back to the original post and the value of the question asked...

JD, Ease up there buddy. I'm not making this a green-bashing.

The value of my post (in my opinion) is that there are similar setups that seem to function as expected. If you look at my past posts, you will see that I have my own disappointments with my tractor.

If you look at the archives for this particular problem that AMG2210 posted, I don't think you'll find much about it. I say that because I've been following the forum for about a year now with particular interest in the sub-CUTS and I dont' recall others with JD 2210s w/ 210 loaders (or similar setups) that posted about this.
