Dump Trailer

Eric...sorry for
my late response. I'm in the process of completing a geology project that leaves me in-op for the next couple of weeks. I have a kidney stone that has to be extracted after ultra-sonic and ultra- modern science failed to git the critter so far. I'll be back to you when I pow-wow with Al in a week or so...Ok?

Well, I've had the opportunity to use my Country Manufacturing trailer for more heavy-duty work. Tried moving a couple of bucket fulls of sand/clay mixture. The cart stood up pretty good. Wouldn't recommend it, however, 'cause I was a bit nervous watching the thing flex back and forth as I went over uneven terrain.

To clarify, I have the wagon (one wheel at each corner) and not the trailer (two wheels on each side--both wheels towards the back of the box).

I had another weld give way. The tongue consists of two pieces of angle iron in a U shape. One piece is L-shaped and welded onto the other. Well, the weld gave way this afternoon. This'll be the second weld repair for this piece of equipment.

I knew less expensive generally means less quality/durable. This proves to be the case with this piece of equipment. If you're looking to move massive quantities of heavy stuff, I wouldn't recommend it. On the other hand, if you have an occasional chore that would be made easier by a dump cart (e.g. moving brush, firewood, etc) and don't mind the occasional repair, I'd say buy one.
