Im guessing its just a gland seal that shot if it only leaks at the bottom of the stroke..
With two hoses, its power up AND power down. But while lowering and pumping oil into the rod side to make it lower.....there is little to no pressure because gravity is doing most of the work, and the bed is lowering with no resistance. But once the bed hits home...now the fluid actually builds internal pressure, and leaks out the bad seal.
