After reading over the posts, I have to say the LYON answer sounded like the closest thing that came to answering the question, decent brand, somewhat in the price range, & made out of METAL. But how about this scenario? I am now facing the same dilema, not wanting to brag, but how many can say they have a 12 ft. section of BOWLING ALLEY at their disposal for a work bench? Mine was bolted all nice along a sure-walled block wall, now just needing some hanging cabinets above to make room for more stuff. After looking at kitchen cabinets, unless getting them custom-made, most are only 12" deep. No go with that, that alley is nearly 3 ft (or so) wide, too far to reach & not enough paint can storage. I had a stack of metal shelving panels, 17" deep by 30" long. Turns out all I have to do is make up two rectangular frames out of 1/8" by 1 1/2" angle-iron, put three panels horizontally between them, then either spot weld or bolt them to the frames. Use two more shelving panels for the front doors after mounting them to hinges, a magnet glued to the inside will keep it closed (add latch with lock later), then if you really want to fancy it up, get some of that thin aluminum diamond-plate off of eBay for a shining touch to put on the sides. Standard thin galvanized sheet metal will work also, pop-rivited into place. You want heavy duty hanging storage, use lag bolts to mount with on those angle-iron frames. I've come across a used office supply store outlet that was selling the metal shelving panels for $5 pop, but sometimes a business or industrial auction has a lot of metal shelving. You can use the shelving panels to box the whole thing in. And there is different weight classes to those shelving panels also, Hallowell makes a good type, but may be too expensive when purchasing from a distributor. Since I have a few Miller tools around, I'm doing mine in a Royal Blue theme, will be trying to get the matching decals from the manufacturer.
