Duramax problems! No parts for 2 months

It took about 3 months and to add insult to injury GM's policy was no loaner for anyone under 21 which I was at the time. So I was good enough to sell a $30,000 truck to but not good enough to give a loaner to. Total BS.

It was sold last month when I lost my primary job. I had it listed as 861 at work. We used it to pull the airplane in and out of the hanger. I had no need for it at home since I have my Jinma and another guy at the airport wanted it to use for the same purpose so I let it go.

It was painted in Ford Blue and looked like a Ford 3000. I will look for a pic in my files.

What part is the dealer saying you need? 2 months wait for an 11 part?? Is it a sensor that is giving a false reading causing the DEF to go into stage 2 limp mode. Give me more info. Part # would be a great help.

It's a heater in the reservoir and they need to change the whole assembly and they have no more stock and I think they must be working on fixing the part because there's so mAny problems with this def system

I would be great if you can get me the part # the dealer says it needs (they tend to change w yr). I will do some digging in the hold up. I will PM you.

Back on subject--There are a ton of fleet service dealers that probably have the needed part. Dealers swap parts all the time, all it takes is the right dealer with the ambition to locate the part..It is possible the part doesn't exist today, but I highly doubt it.

Might cost you a flatbed trip, but it might be worth it...

I am all grown up and don't make threats. I will not be called a liar when there is documentation proving my case.

Go back and reread any of my post on the subject. I did a 30 second search using my screen name "diamondpilot" and "blazer 4.3" or "blazzer 4.3". Stupid spell check. I found post dating back better than 3 years that verify what I have said.

Please do some research and post back your results with a apology if you are man enough. I know I would before I called someone out and if I am wrong, which I am many times, I call myself on it.

Well the dealer magically found the part in Montreal an hour of where a live after they said they were sure they dint have any in North America!! Last time we ever by something there or bring something in for service

Andre, we bring our gm's to Roy's Chevrolet near Alexandria. An hours drive for us..... Not sure if that helps you.
