Larry, I don't fault your assertion, most likely correct. I'm not sure how many several is or if I would care about the expense. Until or unless it were shown to definitely be a considerable expense, more than the difference between reduced rolling resistance tires and regular tires, I probably wouldn't care. Of course, if I were trying to justify the circulating ball thingies I'd be glad to trot out this justification.
There is a lot to be said for the circulating balls. No one single overwhelming advantage, as I see it, but lots of little ones do add up. In some instances just being able to use Slime would make a difference for me. I like my wheels/tires to be in good balance on the highway but to not go flat off road from Locust trees, bois d'arc, and such. (Glad to report we don't have mesquite.)
