I just bought a 2006 Massey Ferguson 1552 w/cab and it has a QPS transmission. When you shift into #2 in any range (Rabbit,Turtle or Snail) it doesnt do anything and puts up an error code. Gears 1,3,and 4 work fine. Is this a problem with an electrical solonoid ? Or is it something else? Thanks Eddie

Transmission fixed!! It was a wire pulled loose from the pin connector to the control module located on the left side just under the floorboard. Possibly a stick got it. The underside of the tractor needs a skid plate to protect the wires and transmission lines that are exposed. I am going to design one in my metal shop that will be easy to remove for service, but will protect the underside. It was an inexpensive fix!!
