You will have slight power loss but nothing to be concerned about in my opinion. These ehydro transmisions are easy to use and well worth it. You get plenty of power to do most anything you would wan't for this size tractor.

An MX-6 will be barely any wider than your machine.

Just my 2 cents, but after spending 10-12 hours in the last week mowing pasture, and reclaiming a lot of overgrown pasture, I'd strongly recommend a Caroni 1900 Flail from Agri-Supply. Not having the big swinging implement behind you when you turn is a huge plus, and I chewed up some pretty significant deadfall (2-3" plus) and not once did I see a wood missile. It also has an nice offset feature for mowing close to fences and under tree limbs. If your close to an Agri-Supply they're only about $1700 if you pick it up, or $2000 if you need it shipped.

My flail is some of the best $2000 I've ever spent!! (plus $54 for new belts....still the best).

4020. Early 60's

Excellent tractor! One of the best they ever made.

JD put eHydro in their biggest field and construction equipment before they ever used it in the smaller units. I have 5 years on my 3720 with no issues at all. I love the eHydro and would do it again in a heartbeat. I would have done a 4x20 but needed a smaller size.

I have a good friend with a 4120, who uses it in his wooded property. He loves it.
