Was moving around the gauge wheels off my landscape rake when I stuck my fingers too close to where the heavy wheels spin. I got my fingers good and should have known better than to pick up the assembly by the wheeled end and then rotate it up letting the wheel come around on me.

EA:
Two possible changes to make the rake even better:
1. Put a handle on the wheel end of the gauge wheel given 80% of the weight is on that one end. Then you can carry both at once and save a trip to the barn.

2. Put a quick-change setup to add/remove the wheels that come off with a pin or something. Me never having the wrench I need on hand always limits me wanting to take the wheels on and off.

No, it makes sense if you own an EA Landscape rake with the wheels.

Long story short I will be putting handles on my gauge wheels so I don't get my fingers again. I may even have to figure out a quick attach method. I will be doing some very fine grading this weekend and look forward to testing out the floating slot for the top link along with the wheels.
