The RTV 1100, by all reports here, and in any the research I have done, is a fine vehicle. However, there are a few issues I have with it.
1. Weight
2. 4wd is 3WD (grip is important)
3. Not available in Ireland until August 2008.
If it were available, I may forgive it the first 2, but I have a fully loaded Gator 850 XUV ordered, this in itself is a problem as it's not officially on sale here yet, so a special order is going in to get one pre launch.
JD dealer loaned me a HPX on trial for the last few weeks, and I'm totally blown away as to where this thing will go, and the all round grip it has, ultimately limited by it's ground clearance, which is sorted in the XUV.
My farm presents unique challenges as this is a very wet country, and the farm is hilly. The HPX has climbed anything I have thrown at it pulling various items.
The Gator cab is very noisy though and I will look into sound proofing it when it arrives.
Just thought someone here may have tried noise cancelling ear protectors.
Thanks anyway.
