I get about one of these per day.......I should be retired by now....

Just left Nigeria, worked there for 4 years......fairly unsavory place.
I knew a man from Bradenton, Florida that worked in the oil fields there also. He told me that his Company housed all its employees in encampments that were protected on the outside perimeter by armed guards. His job was repairing and replacing the valves. He said the pay was really good, and he had been traveling to different Countries for his Company, I think, for around 15 years. He also said that sometimes incidents would happen outside at times that prevented them from doing their job, but that he got paid anyway since he was salary. I don't remember his name though.

He's right on. We lived in a camp, but would sneak out every now and then to go to a restaurant/club, but only in numbers. We had armed guards escort us to/from the airport every day. There were a few isolated incidents, shootings at crew vans, shot a few helicopters, and every now and then capture some expats for ransom. Very isolated incidents though. And yes, they pay you more to work in Nigeria! Ours was called "incentive" pay.....:thumbsup::laughing:

I don't think I would open the web site listed in their e-mail. You may find yourself a billionaire after a few days of e-mail.

Oh boy! Talk about luck. . . I just happened to have $5000 cash on hand that my wife and I were going to use for an extended cruise and vacation. I contacted the gentleman in Nigeria and he asssured me that I'd have my $500k winnings in a week or less if I sent the processing fee of $4950. What luck! They take electronic transfers from my bank. Woohoo!

I can't wait 'til my wife wakes up and I can tell her we're gonna be rich!:D

hehehe. . . did I fool anybody?

2 years ago I visited with my parents and my mom all excited looked at dad and said mike about the raffle that they had won the 250,000.00 dollars. I instantly asked my dad you did not send any one money and he had! It was a couple of thousand dollars to meet the accounting needs of the organization, I forget the exact details of the scam sorry.

So we rushed to his bank and stopped the check then monitored his account since although they were not going to be able to cash the check they did have the bank info, bank routing and accounting.

It is sad that things like this, craigslist, ebay, major finance companies and other well trusted organizations and individuals are able to take your hard earned money.

Wow, only $4995 to process your winnings! ?You can refinance your home for that waht are they doing you think to take that much?:laughing:

The OP didnt have to buy a ticket it was an online lottery. I guess for just either using the internet or he registered through a popup window!!

These guys you would think would catch on by now. The nigerian lotto sld cam stuff is getting exposed by now dont you think that they would use something in the US or a city here to sound more legit? Say the City of Chicago Internation Lotter Association or something with a chicago address or something similar that wont throw as many flags at first. Everything you hear about is a Nigerian Scam of somesort, hard to beleive there still getting people with this. I guess either the very old or ones living under a rock with no power?
