I think that Kioti and the Kukje twins both offer turbo diesels in this HP range.

Thats interesting - I don't know much about Kioti other than the DK35 and 40 - both noce units - I guess it would be another thread - but I wonder if the folks that own them like the turbo - I recall when they were popular on cars several of the drawbacks (turbo lag, increased maintenance) would be a real downer on a tractor where torque on demand is a real plus. What I mean is does the spool-up time effect it's performance at torque intensive jobs.

Thanks for the info - obviously there is A LOT I dont' know about tractors... it's still all pretty new to me.

I was surprised to see a turbo application in a tractor this size. It must not have caught on since I don't know of any CUT's made today that utilize a turbo. )</font>

New Holland TC55DA has a turbo.

Yes, it had a turbo. Back then I still had a little more of my hearing. The turbo whistle sounded cool when the tractor was laboring a little. I don't recall ever having a problem with that tractor.
