Early Spring this year?

Seems like it will be here...the Daffodils are blooming today with a chance of snow this weekend...have not looked for the crocus but I'm sure they are close to blooming too...

It's been about 10 years since I've seen the signs I'm beginning to see...that year by the first week of March the grass needed mowing and there were knee high volunteer carrots in the garden...

Time will tell...

Yep, same here. Saw an ornamental plum tree flowering this week, some narcissus, japanese kerria, and our Lenten roses are flowering. AND we have frogs chirping in the pond. Awful early...

In central NH we got 4" of snow last night and forecast calls for a few more inches tonight. 26° high today.
But generally speaking, it's been a very mild winter.

The local rivers/lakes were high in the Fall and they never dropped in the Winter. Warnings are coming out that this Spring may be a bad one for flooding.

I haven't had more than a few days of Winter yet. Found buds getting ready to open on one of the Pear trees this week. Peach tree isn't far behind.

The crocus & daffodil nubs are showing out under the big flowering cherry tree. Early spring or not - this is yet another weird winter. It's snowed numerous times. Then it warm, rains and the green grass shows.
