Have to give my wife credit for the bluebird picture. Nevertheless, that is a great compliment coming from "Mr. Texas Picture Man". You have posted some great ones on here and facebook.
Lake Martin is a reservoir/flood control lake, as well as power generating. About November each year they lower it 10 feet for that purpose, and bring it back up about mid March. This year Alabama Power got a variance to keep the winter level 3 feet higher than normal, and they are requesting that level in their new guidelines/contract with Army Corps of Engineers, or whoever does the licensing.
