I dont think that it is to make it act like a 3 point, looking at the diagram posted by moship, my bet would be that it acts like a pressure relief valve making sure that there is no more than X PSI of down pressure and the accumulator gives the fluid from the rod side of the lift cylinder somewhere to go when you hit a high spot with the blower, then pushing it back down as soon as you are off of the high spot.I think we are saying the same thing... Additional plumbing to make the existing hydraulics behave more like a 3pt.
