Ease of taking off FEL

Depends on how many times you've done it, and how recently you've been through the experience /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif. Taking the loader off is easier than putting it back on. Make *sure* you do it on a level surface, concrete is best, or it will be much more difficult.
My first time was probably about 30 minutes off, 45 or so back on? I can take it off in just a few minutes (maybe 5) and back on in about 10, unless I mess up the connectors (which I do most of the time because the darn colored dots that are supposed to tell you which hose for what connector are gone, and I haven't figured out how to label them in a way that will stay on during the rigors of use /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif - but I digress /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif).
It isn't that bad, and the only way to learn how is to do it. And there are definately applications where the loader is a real pain, so if you don't need / want it on, take it off. But do have the manual handy /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif.

chrisjbell, use colored cable ties. Or as we call them down here zip ties or strips

If you don't have colored ties you can just use numbers...ie, one, two, three, etc.....I use that because my snowblower lifts lines are also supposed to be colored coded the same as the FEL. I'm OK until the number excedes my fingers! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
