My neighbor has a 16 hp on his, and he added a 12v winch last year instead of the hand crank.
The 16 horse seems to do the trick. I had the opportunity to use a 36" Hud-son a few years ago, and it was really nice. It had the full trailer kit, 24' of rails & a 20 HP Honda. We got so that we could cut 2-3 logs at a time. It took a little longer to flip all the logs around, but it saved a lot of time.
I've been researching to build a similar rig to go in the back of a M35a2, Would you mind sharing the specs on your build? What are the lengths of the segments, is it steel tubing construction or joined C channel, etc. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!
