Pulling your beaks? Actually, our inside birds (a Senegal Parrot and a Cocketiel) like us to do things like that as long as it leads to head-scratches... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Yea, this is our second season for the heated unit. It only uses a small amount of power and only "warms" the water enough to keep it from freezing. We have an incredible population of birds that frollic around our deck all winter long enjoying the easy availability of water (sometimes hard for them to find) and various food treats we put out for them.
