I thought a half block idea sounded like it was a clever way to get more heat in to the peppers.

Just don't plant hot peppers anywhere near other peppers!

All the sweet peppers go back in the garden.

I once mistook Hungarian hot peppers for sweet banana peppers. I broke one in half and took a big bite. Yeow that was hot! My eyes started to tear up, and I rubbed them.... with the fingers that broke the pepper in half! Girlfriend at the time and her grandma had a good laugh while I begged for some water. Please.

First picking of strawberries a couple weeks ago. We've had another picking about every 4-5 days. They are everbearing, so we'll get a small crop all summer.


Barrel planter in the greenhouse and some poppies for my wife.


Rhododendron next to the house. ZERO flowers last year. They all froze off. This year, more than I've ever seen. It needs a trim as soon as the flowers are done.

SE Tennessee and our garden is thriving. Cukes, Zukes and squash are rolling!! Toms, peppers, okra and beans are a week or 2 out from harvest. Been eating salad greens and kale for a month + already

My rhododendron is just starting to open up, should be in full bloom by the weekend. It's been a pretty consistent bloomer, though like yours is going all out this year.
Lilacs were disappointing, very few blossoms, one bush didn't have any at all. Last year they were fine. We did have a rather cool, damp May, wondering if that was the cause or just some sort of cycle? Apple trees didn't get many blossoms this year either.

Our lilac bloomed in November! Had some flowers again this spring. Our peaches, apples and apricots all set fruit this year. We won't get any, but they are there for now.
