EBAY CAUTION!!! STUPID SCAMMERS

John: Welcome to TBN! Don't be so sure that your personal data is safe on Ebay. I was contacted by my card company saying that there was some suspicious activity on my account from overseas. I immediately told them to cease any transactions on that card & to issue a new one. That card with the suspicious activity was the one I used for Ebay transactions, so keep a close check on yoru statements.

By the way, I see you're also a ham operator. Great hobby.

So far I have not had any problems with my accounts. I just dont like people copying my auctions because the buyers see those pics and info all the time and then when I try to sell again they think I am a scam also.

these a**holes just tick me off! bunch of lazy so&so's trying to steal the hard work of others. recently I posted on my local network ISP to sell my car. within hours I recieved a scam email, one of those famous ones where they'll send a cashiers check (fake) for $10,000.oo and you send them the difference from your sale price. Boy did I get steamed. removed the ad immediately and considered throwing out the computer! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
