Hey folks:

Look at these two listings on ebay:

7518391448
5200988340

These sure appear too good to be true, don't they? I just reported these as possibly fraudulent, so they may not be there when you go to look. A kubota B7500 w/FEL for $4500 and a BX22 for $4000. Hmmm.

Here's the thing I don't understand...it's the same seller for both and he/she has around 100 units of feedback, almost all positive, spaning back into 2002 or earlier. So, either this is a good guy gone bad all of a sudden, or someone has stolen his/her ebay id. I would tend to think the latter. I wonder how Ebay is going to secure against this? I wonder how the fake seller would go about actually collecting the money?

I think it is in-fact a scam.

The price, as well as not being able to contact the seller thru ebay is a tell tale sign.

I usually look for other items from the same seller, go to that auction, and then contact the seller regarding the auction in question.

I'll take the L4330 for $4500 /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The yahoo e-mail is mfaulk008(and is probably new last updated today), whereas the eBay seller ID is mfaulk007

the person whois ACTUALLY the e-bay gent by name of faulk007 (? forget what was actually posted) probably had his e-bay account hi-jacked by a scammer.. it happened to several people I know already. e-bay never asks for people to UPDATE their info with a link which would appear to be by e-bay. so these unsuspecting people click the link and find a site which APPEARS to be e-bays personal log on page, they LOG IN and then the scammer has the e-bay account info and hijacks it advertizing some high buck items forsale quick or at low buy it now price, gets sopme one to send cash, check or bond to them and they are off scott free the guy who does not check his e-bay info very often then gets a bunch of people after HIM as it WAS his account which SOLD the non-existant items.

like others said look at WHAT the seller HAS sold in the past, then contact them dirrectly through e-bay don't jump on a good bet or use paypal or send cash or check or bonds... all of which are a major pain in the rear to get back, even PAYPAL is worthless when it comes to getting cash back when you get scammed by a crook. ask me how I know /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif they hide fine print which states that if the account that frauded you is closed there is nothing they ccan do and you are out the $.o NEVER USE A BANK ACCOUNT ON E-BAY or PAYPAL. that "GET VERIFIED" thing is how my woaman was ripped off. use credit cards only (preferably ones with on-line fraud insurance added in.)

oh BTW: we have some SWEET CORN/INDIAN CORN hybrid seed forsale on there now, about 19 baggies of seeds in the 1lb range over 500 each bad in mixed and multi colors. ..

not much interest in it I guess untill October. these were left overs from last season and I ate a bunch of it which was suprizingly good /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

looks like an ID HI JACKING. I will bet he clicked a link to update his info.

More than likely the scammer will try to get a prospective chump to send him "half" of the payment via Western Union, this is the most common way for these lowlifes to rip people off.
If it sounds to good to be true IT IS!! (Not Probably)
