2 hunks of 3" long 1" by 3/8" American stainless steel, one with two 8mm bolt clearance holes 5CM apart...

One eleven inch length of 1/2" stainless pipe..

A stainless 3 1/4" piece of 1 1/2" by 1/8" strap, with a clearance hole for light ....

Mount for a Class 1 amber rotary beacon for my new tractor..... PRICELESS... !!!!!!!!!!!

Is that a "high speed" rotary beacon, meaning a high flash-per-minute rate? Where did you buy it? Model #?

Yes Sir, it is 160 flashes per minute. I have one on all my tractors, in case I have to take them off my property, especially in the winter. I have been buying them from Amazon. I like the rubber mount base that lets them give a little if you bump them on something... Model number is 5816A ...

I know this is an old post...I'm mounting a beacon on my 2555 cab just like what you did.
My question is - I've tried both threads of 8mm bolts and neither want to go more than a half a turn.
I don't want to strip the nuts, do you know if the 8mm nuts were corse or fine (before I run a tap through them)

The bracket on my tractor cab was 1.25, not the finer 1.0 ... You could have a little bur on it. Good luck, Jerry ...
