Edge Tamers on my gravel drive

Finally got a chance to try out the edge tamers I bought a month or so ago and I couldn't be happier. I'm running these on an BX2370 that I just got back in June, a machine I'm am very please with. I've got about a 250' gravel drive that is edged with railroad ties. A lot of the ties are flush, some... not so much. The tamers did a fine job of riding over the flush and simi-flush ties when asked to but you can't expect them to just jump over a 4" frozen obstacle. I pushed a lot of snow out into the yard and at worst trimmed some grass where the moles pushed it up some, but I never took any gravel out of the drive. On the cement pad up by the garage I removed the tamers and let the bucket get right down to the cement since I had driven on the snow several times and it was quite uneven with frozen tire tracks etc. I know I don't have a lot of posts here, but this is the first bit of info I have to offer, I'm usually here looking for information not giving it.

Just ordered some of these with the extenders...could have used them today for clearing my yard for a wood delivery and carrying pallets!

I also used my Edge Tamers for the first time this weekend. I'm very please with them. I did have some spots where they sunk into mud on the side of my driveway. I used two 3" Edge Tamers. I'm going to order two more 4" edge tames and run all four on the bucket. I think it will float over even the softest spots with 4 of them. It was right at 32 degrees when it snowed this weekend. If colder (ground frozen) I wouldn't have to run all four. I did 4 large gravel driveways with them and they look like they will last a very long time before they wear out. I can remove both of them in 10-20 seconds if I want to get down on asphalt. Again - very pleased with both function and quality. I'm running these on the DS4510HS the the ~1300 pound loader / bucket combo in float. I think a lighter loader / bucket combo would be fine with two 3" Edge Tamers. - I also plowed a soccer field in our yard and never gouged the grass at all. It was sooooo easy to plow on grass!

Edge tamers do what they say.When they arrived they seemed heavy duty and well made.Today I sat the bucket on the ground,picked up the front wheels and drove across the grass.Didnt gouge a bit.One of my concerns when I ordered them was rather they would stay tight on the bucket or always come loose.Have stayed nice and tight on the bucket.Definitely prevent gouging.

Got mine in the mail today...very heavy duty! I also got the "Extenders" for moving pallets and other stuff around. Should be a great device for lots of things around here with gravel drives and 5 acres of lawn, some of which I clear off for wood piles.

Tried out the Edge Tamers the other day on my "off driveway" sections that I clear for various things (dog poop area, wood piles, back yard access, etc.)
and I'm very happy with the way they worked! No more digging and diving bucket in float mode! Good product that works as advertised!
