Electric circuit breakers ? ...thick or thin size

Eddie do not separate the breakers unless you are certain that the 2 wires on those breakers do not share the same nuturel.
NEVER NEVER modify a breaker to fit or mix brands if you ever have a fire and its traced back to the box and the fire Marshall returns the report to insurance co.they can refuse the claim.
And as far as the thin breakers go in a commercial or industrial setting I have had many problems with them.

I'm not going to modify a breaker. It's working just fine like it is, and I have no interest in them other then a curiousity as to why they were used. When I changed the light switch, I had to turn off two breakers because they are joined together. It's no big deal, I'll turn off the entire panel if I have to. It's just a switch.

Sorry Eddie the modify part was not directed at you that was meant for the person who modified the breaker with a Dremel tool.

Modifying breakers will definitely cause you trouble, if the insurance company wanted to fight you for it..
But installing differing brands that easily install, will fill the "form, fit, function rule".. And an insurance company would be hard pressed to not pay the claim
