The electric diverter on my 3720 JD defaults to the rear hydraulic couplers when I start the tractor instead of the loader. Is it possible to have the default to the loader control valve rather than the rear hydraulics? I use the loader more than the rear hydraulics and frequently I move my TNT when I first start the tractor before I remember to flip the diverter switch.

Default should be loader. Has it worked this way since it was installed?

Yes, its been that way since I picked it up a couple of weeks ago. I am taking it back to have the cab radio installed and will have them reverse it to the loader default. Thanks for the info.

I have one on a 4720 and it stays where I leave it- but it always has power to it. Sounds like mine was wired wrong??

What do you mean it always has power to it? Is the red light on the switch always on? Currently, mine is only on when I depress the electric diverter switch but again mine seems to be wired backward. Talked to the dealer today, they will call Deere tech support in the am to see what is wrong.

I would guess that it is plumbed backwards and not wired backwards?

Yep, that's my guess.

Yup, wrong hoses on the wrong fittings... That would be my guess also.. could be wrong.. but like I said that would be my guess too...

Sounds like your loader hoses are setup on your auxillarys, and your auxillarys are set up on your loader valves.

Well, picked up tractor from dealer. They didn't know what to do about the way my electric diverter works. They called JD tech support yesterday and they haven't returned the call yet. My guess either they don't sell many with electric diverter or they have always done it backwards. You guys know more than my dealer. I will wait until they hear from tech support but I would guess it is either plumbed or wired backwards.

Update on electric diverter. Left tractor at dealer. Problem was two hoses reversed. Now works correctly. Thanks for your help.
