I've got a Zareba charger too (50-mile rated low impedance). Do any of yall who have the Zareba chargers see the little orange light come on? It's supposed to be a 'Fence OK' light, but even when I'm not having shorting issues, I've never seen that light come on.

Both of the little lights on mine come on with every pulse of the charger. When I did actually have a broken insulator resulting in a dead short to the T-Post, the "Fence OK" light was not turning on with each pulse. From my experience the indicators work as advertised.

The one I have,160 kilometer/100 mile, only has one light on it which kept right on flashing. The voltmeter I have was reading 7.9 or 7900 volts which made me think everything was working properly. Now it's up to 8900 and maybe I'll add another couple grounds to see if I can get it higher. I really wish I knew how those meters work that tell you which way the current is flowing because I'am sure electricians would have something cheaper than the gallagher that seems to be so much money.
