Electric Hydraulic Valve Kit From W.R. Long - ???

Mac I believe that GaryD was correct in his comment, at least about this particular valve with the double coil setup. We wired this particular valve to a TN with the use of a SPDT relay. At any one time one of the two coils was energized any time the TN was running.

However all these valves are not created equal. In my case we used a SPST relay and a different valve with a single coil click here. This way the coil is only energized if you are actually using the grapple circuit or the snowplow angle cylinders.

After reading this discussion I noticed that I did not have any pictures of our 3rd function valve on our website. I just published three pictures and they are located in our photo gallery. The valve we use is open center and the valve does not energize unless the rocker switch is engaged. Each kit is made for the specific loader.

Can you tell me how big the mounting hole is on the joystick handle? Also a price of just the handle is by itself?

The Electric over Hydraulic Inside Diameter of the handle is just under 3/4". The inside diameter of the selector valve handle is just under 7/8". The list price of the electric over hydraulic handle with wires and rocker switch is $84.85. The list price for the selector valve handle, switch, and wires is $51.36.

Sorry slow to respond. I hadn't checked the forum for a while.
I have a W.R. Long 4 n 1 bucket with their diverter. I don't know if it's the kit you are looking at. I plumbed it to the tilt circuit on a Power Trac 1845, with the Long button on the joystick to divert the flow to open and close the bucket. It has been flawless for almost three years.
My dealings with Long were at the time of purchase. They were easy to work with. I thought their steel bucket price pretty good, but their electric-hydraulic kit price a bit on the high side. The bucket is top grade, and the electric/hydraulic kit worked exactly as advertized. I have no regrets.
But -- don't send a check to their street address. They don't have mail service there - just to their P.O. Box. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
