Curiously, what do all those charges on your bill refer to? "Energy" I presume is the actual electricity used, and "service' is the fixed cost of having an accoutnt but what are the others? Typical electric company, lots of obfuscation when it comes to what you're being charged for.
Honestly, I don't really know. I never looked at the line items before. I just pay the bill every month and I also know that we have some of the lowest rates around.

Hey think twice if you really need that piano. I learned they have no resale value at all. Nobody wants one today.

BTDT. After a long time with nobody interested, we finally got a $600 offer from a dealer 400 miles away who planned to put $thousands into renovating it for his high-end Los Angeles store. Only because it was a rare Steinway Upright from 130 years ago. (Mom had bought it at her church's moving sale).
Why would I drive it so far just to sell it?

I can play it.

I think the real issue is the demand for real pianos has fallen because weighted keyboards have eaten into sales and maybe fewer young people are willing to invest so much time learning to play.

But there are pianists who insist on having not just a real piano, but also screen them for responsiveness and tone. If you are driving 13 hours, must be a special instrument to you?

Myself, I'd rather have tulips on my organ than roses in my piano...lol

Far as EV's go, I think they are all various levels of fugly, especially the Ford electric Mustang.

We have 3 Tesla's in the family and they are also ugly.

If I was ever to buy an EV, it would be a Rivan 4 motor. While still homely looking, they have the range and interior space to be useful and our insurance carrier just put out a notice that if your home has an attached garage and you park and charge an EV in it, they will deny any claim for fire caused by a runaway battery. If I ever bought one, it would be parked outside anyway.
