electric motor, lights, et al plug question

I was wondering what you guys use to plug your electric sprayer motors, lights, et al into your tractor's electrical system with. I was considering a 12V utility plug (cigarette ligher adapter), but came across what's called a forklift plug (Anderson connector).

I use the two prong trailer light plugs available almost anywhere. Good for 15 amps or so and cheap.

Anderson/Forklift plugs are real cool, but you will pay allot for the coolness /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
There are really designed for high-current applications, such as battery strings, chargers, winches, etc. IMHO there are overkill for lights or sprayers...

The mid priced option might be the electric trolling motor connections used when wiring bass fishing boats. they can handle moisture and a failry heavy electrical draw.

The 2 prong trailer light connectors work for me. One nice thing about them, if wired correctly, is that you can plug the sprayer into your flat 4 trailer connector, toss the tank in the back of your pickup & drive around spraying fences, driveways etc. Mine just happens to turn off & on w/the vehicle headlight switch. I've also wired a 2 prong connector into my Dixie Chopper zero turn mower so that the sprayer has power when tossed into a tow-behind garden cart.

In my opinion, I would go with the heavy duty Anderson connectors you posted a picture of. They aren't that expensive. I bought mine from Cabelas. They were only about 15 bucks for a pair. I put a set on my Kubota L3400. I can plug in lots of accessories such as a sprayer pump, work lights, spot light or whatever. As a matter of fact, I have a 1000 watt power inverter rigged up with that connector which has come in extremely handy on remote parts of my property.
I have even jump-started my ATV a time or two using this connector.
I have mine conveniently mounted under the rear of the seat to the metal channel that holds the fender.
I have a 40 amp automotive breaker mounted in the battery compartment and from there I ran 8 or 6 gauge wire (I forget) to the connector.
Within reason, there are tons of possibilities if you use the heavy duty connector.
Just my 2 pennies.
