Would anyone buy this, I know no way I would, CAN$7,000 which works out to US$5,600 . Supposed to be able to mow 2 acres on a charge.
Probably all downhill, 1/2" high grass, 100lb operator on dry ground with a tailwind............Mike

A friend of mine owns one, she loves it... now I’d prefer one with similar capacity as my XOne... but those are $25k 😂

I wouldn't be surprised to see commercial operators going for them. They have to be cheaper to operate than fuel powered units and the batteries can be recharged by an inverter run off of the tow vehicle for the trailer used to move them from job to job.

I stand corrected, it sure seems to have the guts that's for sure. I still couldn't justify the price unfortunately.............Mike

Wife has EGO self propelled mower for trimming. Lot of plastic and flimsy compared to a gas mower. New gas mowers are about impossible to keep running after a couple of seasons. With the electric all I have to do is sharpen the blade. Impressive video. Would take a couple of electrical circuits to charge six batteries at once.

I switched to all battery powered lawn tools a couple of years ago and I'll never go back to gas. You can't beat the convenience and not having to keep gas on hand.

I'm of the opinion that it is just a matter of time before homeowner lawn tools will all be battery powered and gas powered tools will be very hard to find.

My Hustler MSRP is about $10k... most residential ZTRs are around $5k. So this seems a viable option. I don’t like how flimsy it seems, with all that plastic however, and wonder what sort of traction it gets on a hill as a result. At 1400lbs my ZTR will climb anything. At less than half that, my in-laws mower cannot hold a slope well at all.
