And that is my issue with the current offerings that have 7" or so cutting capacity, but retail for $1000 up. If I'm going to pay $1,000 or more, I at least want the mower equivalent of the Ego, Kobalt or Ryobi 20-21" models, but with self guidance.

Already is but the cost is way over the top as well. Sort of like a Roomba for grass.
I watched one last year being used in an open area of a cemetery, they spent more time getting it unstuck and moving again than it did mowing. Frustration set in and they gave up using it and used a ZT to finish the area.
