I do not want to make a suggestion that will lead you down a black hole.
But WORST case senerio:
I do see a snap ring at the base of the connector on the tractor and a plate that can be removed on the side.
If you truley cannot get the replacement parts, there is a possible workaround.
Without knowing what is inside it is hard to guess further.
Can you ger a parts view of the innards?
Pictures are out of focus but when I first saw it, it appeared to be weatherpack connector that I see on GM vehicles... replaced the 4wd actuator on my daughters 94 chevy pickup last year and that connector looks similar..

could this be it a Deutsch Sealed Connector ? I cant see the plug well enough to tell.. You might try taking some different pictures. The one good photo on the transmission looks like this might be it, and it is 8 conductor not 6. Obviously weatherproof high quality automotive type connector.
