Electrical ??? Kubota L3400

Okay, I'll give this a shot. I've owned my 3400 Kubota since early 2008, a few days ago I finally bought a new battery and replaced the OEM one.
After replacing I have zero electrical to the machine, I've checked all of the fuses that I could find, have positive continuity with the ground. I'm stumped.

Did you check the new battery, could be a dud. Check your battery cables for internal corrosion, and ensure cable post clamps are clean and tight.

Continuity from positive to ground is known as a short and I couldn't begin to tell you where,just look for smoke.

The battery is reading about 12.58, there is no corrosion on the cables, I meant that the ground side cable is grounded correctly and no breaks. on the positive side there are three (3) different cables going where...??? When I connect the positive terminal and then go to connect the negative I don't get the expected initial spark, telling me there is break somewhere. The nearest Kubota place is over 80 miles away. Thanx for the answers though.

How are the cable conditions? I've had cables look good, but when removed, the copper stranding is all but disappeared.

If ground is confirmed, check for power on the starter. Any there?

In order to get help you MUST learn and use proper terminology. Up to now both your posts are mesh mash and there's no mind readers in the room. Odds are high you will misinterpret some if not most things we tell you if we aren't speaking the same lingo.

Curious as to why you replaced the battery? Was the tractor dead? Just Thinking the problem may not be related to the battery change.

Next thing is to determine where you do have power. Check the big wire on the starter to ground. It should be a straight cable to the battery with maybe a fuse. If yes just keep moving down the line to find the problem.

This is not a car where you have a radio and dome lights that would spark. If the key is not on, there is nothing to cause a "spark" (no load).

What happens when you turn the key, any Clicks??

When you removed the old battery, did you check the voltage? I'm still on my first battery from 2005 (it doesn't see much action at 850 hours).

My guess is you might have a safety switch issue. What happen to cause you to buy a new a battery?

If you only disturbed the positive and negative battery cables when changing battery trouble is very likely in that general area..... If were me I would suspect new battery or old corroded battery cables (yes corrosion can be hidden under insulation and can be the "fault")....

Did you take some light abrasive (Scotch Bright pad) and polish terminals on new battery and the inside of clamps on ends of cable before connecting...

Gentlemen, thank you for your replies. I went and cleaned all cables and the contact points. Finally got power and ignition.
To answer the question about why I changed batteries, the old one had a bad cell and would only take about a 75% charge.
Today I noticed that I have slack in the fan/generator bel, when I tested the battery if it was charging and it wasn't, so I tightened the belt and now things are good to go.
For "J" (Jax). I'll be sure to take a class on "Tractoreze" in the near future.
