That is good, they are connected together, but you have the hot going to the lights and switch and that is what counts. That is a pretty good idea to use the signal switch though. I might have done the same if I would of seen your posting before I did mine. So is life.

They might not be a match for what Kubota uses on the tractors, but you can use marine grade switches which are better than what Kubota supplies. That way, you don't have to be concerned with water getting into them. The marine switches are also available with pilot lights in them, so you will also have a visual if the switch is left on. I would also wire them so they are on the switched side of the ignition, so when you shut the tractor off, all the lights also go off.
