Look for this next.

Electronic enhanced loader operations.

Weight display. How heavy is the load.

Repetive movement automation. Like for loading round bales, the loader drops to the correct spearing height, and raise to the proper trailer loading height. Fast.

Electronic controlled self leveling.

Electronc controlled weight damping.

Electronics enhancing safety for load transport.

Push button changes for quick attach buckets and other options.

disco lights. (ok, maybe not...)

Hah! Next thing you'll be telling us that some day we'll have Electronic Fuel Injection on our Tractors! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well, that's what I would say. Bosch is the world's leading maker of diesel fuel injection, and their electronic common rail diesel injection system

will certainly appear on tractors at some point. Benefits are better starting, more power, less smoke, lower emissions, and better fuel economy.

I'd like to see pilot controls for a loader. If you have ever run a mini-ex before, its way better than the standard loader controls. While what your talking about is defentialy possible I bet it will be at least 10 years before the reliability can be high enough that they will really start pushing electronics hard.

My Cat skid steer has pilot controls. They are also available for JD, and bobcat skid steers. My Cat also has electric leveling and push button quick attach is available for it. So the technology is already here. My neighbor has a JD tractor that has electronic loader controls, ground radar, and push button everything. It’s really cool. After sitting in that tractor my kubota M9000 feels very basic.

The electronic weigh systems have been available for years. You can add one to any loader, including a loader on a CUT. The system uses a sensor inserted into the hydraulic system to weigh the load.

I think it is CAT who makes loaders (atleast the tracked ones) with a "Return-to-Dig" function. Same idea as the automated repetitive motion you listed.

BTW, what are pilot controls???

So if I get a new loader and it has problems I will have to go to walmart and get more AA battts.? Seems like my son as a loder that works that way

Maybe they have a built in tiltmeter and let the bucket back down if you lift too high on a slope ?
