Email notices

OK, I'm now getting the email notices big time. Trouble is, I learned to use the "My Home" icon at the top when the email thing was down. It was the only way to update and I think I like it better than the email notices. In fact, I made it my start page and my email is less cluttered. Now I'm confused.

Well I won't quibble over your 9 notices Mate... I'm more interested in your opinion on your Gonculator. It is one of the most vital components of todays engines, whether diesel or petrol.

I've gone the extra 'mile' and insisted that a Turbo Encabulator be installed on both my V6 Hilux ute (petrol) and my 4105's (Yanmar 3 cyl. diesel) donk. It really makes a difference!

Turbo Encabulator, now that one I have known about since grade school back in the 40's. :thumbsup:

Even have one installed in the Ranger.

I didn't know my old high school math/shop teacher made a Youtube video, he was a real inspiration to me. I still remember back one day listing to this vary same lesson, at the end I walk up to his deck and told him I didn't understand a --- thing he said, then he told me since I'm flunking all his classes I could either cut wood or become a weldah, well today I'm doing both.

Notices seem fixed now as I had 8-10 in my in box this AM.

I don't think I have seen any double-posts since this statement was made (Feb 5, 11:24 AM), which is great news. Is anyone still having the DP problem? Or are they still occurring but just not in the threads I have been reading?

I've still seen some. But they aren't as frequent.

Notices seem to be fixed here also.

How do I change it so I don't get email notices but am able to see them when I click on "My Home"? It doesn't seem this is possible under the "my settings" tab, then "general settings" and then "thread subscription mode". I'm getting lots of email notices and can't seem to slow them down. None of the choices seem to work.n

Did you change the setting in "Default Thread Subscription Mode:" to "Through My Control Panel Only"?

Then you go to "My Subscriptions"

And check the "Instant" box for the ones you want to change, then at the bottom, click "Selected Threads", click "Through my control panel only" and click "Go"
