Pulled both drain plugs on the front wheels, last night, and the filler cap; turned the wheels, repeatedly, to push out more used oil, from the system. Manual specifies 2.5 Liters of oil, but I put 2 Liters in, with 1/2 Liter running on the floor (filled the funnel too fast, it overflowed the fill hole...), and I still had too much fluid in it (rotated the wheels, again, to circulate the oil; will check the level today, to be sure there is enough oil in the system). Ended up sucking out new oil using my shop-vac with an aquarium hose, per a YouTube video using an old 32 oz. soda bottle to contain it, within the vacuum -- worked superbly). Preparing to change the main HTF fluid, tonight, along with the filter, and cleaning the screen. Book specified 3+ gallons of oil. Planning to add 2 gallons, watching the sight glass, carefully, as I add more.
Any other eMax 20 owners experienced this issue with the book listing too much oil in the change process? I had the front end on jack stands, up six inches higher than the ground, for better access. I doubt that prevented more than one liter of oil from draining... Cheers!
