Many years ago I had a problem with Kids climbing on my 4 ft chain link fence and dragging it down. Planted poision ivy along it and very soon the problems went away. I am not alergic to it /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You might not have reactions to poison ivy now but it's not uncommon to become alergic in later years. Don't ask me how I know.... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

It worked the other way for me, I was allergic to it when I was young, but can now weed eat and pull the stuff by hand. Strange but true. Just glad it is true because I remember suffering from the blisters and itch when I was younger.

Do an internet search on privet hedges. Fast growing and tall 12- 15 ft.

Thanks Russ, that very well could be a great alternative. I like what I have seen so far, but no sites that I can get a view of the height. I will look more.

Added bonus, since this project will be back away from anything electric, I will have to have one of those gas powered weed eater convertable to anything besides the dishwasher combo doodads..........that there just happens to be a very good thread on right now.
