Endless caulking

To add to Mike's post - I threw together an adjustable (height and angle) easel/workframe when I did a major re-glazing job on my house some years ago. The work is difficult enough - might as well be as comfortable as possible and save some strain on the back.

They (in this case, "they" is www.toolcrib.amazon.com) sell a tool called a Putty Chaser that you chuck up in your drill to remove the glazing putty. Made by Prazi USA, part #PR9000, lists for $19.99 in the August 2001 catalog. They also list a few different powered caulking guns. I would buy one, but my tenants knock the windows out before they need re- glazed. I install windows with clear silicon as per local industry practice. Or siliconized caulk if that's what I have lying around.
