With winter coming on and remembering how my tractor is sometimes hard to start when it gets below freezing, I was wondering what type of heater I should get for my tractor and where the best place to install it would be. Anybody with experience with this please chime in and give me some direction. Thanks

My suggestion is a block heater, part number RE227949.

I assume that the quoted part no is a block heater and that it fits in lieu of a frost plug.
Best way to go!
You can also simply measure the diameter of the plug and order a generic for a probable $25-35.
Easy to install, about a 30 min job. (good time to install fresh antifreeze as well).and a flush joob if hours are highish.
