The first part of your letter was helpful and appreciated. The second part was a little fuzzy as far as how it can be interpreted,
Are you saying the question was so minor and/or stupid that it should not have been asked? "OR" are you disappointed that the responses from people who "should know" are not answering the questions. After putting 85 hrs on my 4110 in just over two months my opinion of this Mahindra tractor is that it is not "THE" best, but IT IS -"ONE OF THE" best on the market today.

I found the package that the block heater came in - I put the parts that came out of the 4500 in it when I installed the heater. It is a Kat's frost plug type heater/block heater and has a Kat's part number on it. Part #11409. I looked the part up in a few auto parts company's on the web and the price is $24.99. It is listed as 400w - 120v. This should be universal across the "00" series Mahindra's. The only part that has to be bought from Mahindra is a different water drain plug housing - Mahindra part number is 006000385 F1, and water drain plug gasket - Mahindra part # 000020495 E05. Installation is relatively simple but the plastic cover over the starter has to be removed during installation and replaced afterwards. I cut a notch in the plastic cover to allow the cover to lay in it's original position because of the power cord on the heater. I don't think Mahindra would want much more than $25.00 or less for the 2 parts making it a $50.00 job at worse case scenario. I hope this helps and answers any questions. I'll try to answer any questions you might have.

Ron - I apologize if the 2nd part of my letter came off sounding like the questions posed were stupid. Quite the opposite! I'm just looking for more people with problems to express them in this forum. I think there is a vast wealth of knowledge contained within the readers that use this site and perhaps some fellows think their questions might sound trite and insignificant. If I have any complaint, it is not with my tractor but the way Mahindra seems to closely guard their inner sanctum by not even keeping their dealers apprised of updates and change notices on equipment out in the field already. Once again Ron, my apologies for my poorly composed letter and if I didn't believe in the potential of this forum - I wouldn't waste my time. I want to read and see pictures of one blue tractor in a 2 acre field of red tractors along with ideas, inventions, etc that other people have come up with.

No appology needed. Sometimes I need a few extra words to make it clearer. As far as this forum and this tractorbynet site,
I am warnig everybody - I will be asking a lot of stupid and/or
complicated questions in the future, there are some things I am real good at but my tractor ownership is brand new to me.
Clyde, I have read some of your response in the past and I do agree 98% of what you say, there's alot more important things in life than spilling diesel fuel when you fill up your tank.

Only 98% of the times Ron?.....I'm really hurt. You are a hard man to convince. In reality - there are no stupid questions asked. The only person that is afraid to ask a question is the man that is going to suffer. I would venture to say that most of us are first time tractor users and we were lucky enough to buy the right tractor the 1st time around for the best price. I don't promote ridicule, snide remarks, but I do stand behind giving the best advice that I can and believing in the man that has been there before.
