Engine Cuts Out

I have a Craftsman GT-5000 tractor with a 25HP Kohler Pro engine.
The engine will cut out after 20 mins. for mowing, I does not stall out but the rpms drops for a few seconds the runs normal for a few minutes , then it cuts out.

I would check the fuel lines and the fuel filter first.. If all of that is good I would start checking the ignition system such as the plug and plug wire makiung sure you don't have a wire shorting out..Hope that helps..

Check the vent on the gas cap. If stopped up, will cause a vacuum in the tank and starve the carburetor. Check float, maybe sticking. A carb kit for those engines is about $26.00.
